Contest Rules
- All content must be related to Steamboat Springs, CO
- No business logos or marketing photos, video or story content will be accepted. This website was created with the purist intentions of sharing the love and passion that so many of us have for Steamboat Springs and the Yampa Valley. Its intent is not to promote any particular business or entity or to be a marketing tool. It is designed for you to have a place to share your experiences with others through your eyes, whether it be a photo, video or personal story. We ask that you not compromise the integrity of this site by posting “marketing” driven content with the intent of promoting or selling your business or products.
- You must be thirteen years or older to post content on the site.
- Contest deadline is September 15, 2011
- Winners identified and prizes awarded in 2011. Stay tuned for details.
- Videos must be under three minutes
- Videos must be in. flv,. wmv,. asf,. avi,. mov,. 3gp,. mpg,. mpeg, or. mp4 format, 100 MB limit.
- Stories must be under three thousand words
- Photos must be in JPEG, PNG, or GIF format (no progressive JPGs or animated GIFs), 100 MB limit.
In connection with any User Content you submit, you affirm, represent, and/or warrant that: You own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use and authorize both us and our Service Provider to use all patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights in and to any and all User Content to enable inclusion and use of the User Content in the manner contemplated by the Site and these Terms of Use; and you have the written consent, release, and/or permission of each and every identifiable individual person in the User Content to use the name or likeness of each and every such identifiable individual person to enable inclusion and use of the User Content in the manner contemplated by the Site and these Terms of Use.
In connection with User Content, you further agree that you will not:
Submit material that is copyrighted, protected by trade secret or otherwise subject to third party proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights, unless you are the owner of such rights or have permission from their rightful owner to post the material and to grant us and our Service Provider all of the license rights granted herein; publish falsehoods or misrepresentations that could damage us or any third party; submit material that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, violate any law, or is otherwise inappropriate; post advertisements or solicitations of business; or impersonate another person.
